This Privacy Policy explains how joreveliq collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit this website and when you register interest in our educational bicycle retail training.

Last Updated: March 12, 2026

Quick note: Analytics and marketing cookies are optional and only activate after you choose them in cookie settings. Essential cookies are required for basic site operation.

1. Introduction and Controller Identity

This Privacy Policy explains how joreveliq (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit joreveliq.com (the “Website”) and when you submit information through our registration form for educational course updates.

The data controller responsible for processing your personal data is:

Effective Date: March 12, 2026. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, you can contact us using the details above.

2. Personal Data We Collect

We collect only the data needed to operate the Website and respond to course registration interest. The types of personal data we may collect include:

  • Identity and contact data: name and email address, and any information you choose to include in form fields.
  • Form submission data: the content you submit through our registration form (for example, a team role note included in the name field).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, language settings, and similar device identifiers.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, time spent on pages, referrer information, and click paths (where analytics cookies are enabled).
  • Cookies and identifiers: essential cookies used for site continuity and your cookie preferences, plus optional analytics and marketing cookies if you consent (see Section 4).
  • Conversion events: events that indicate actions on the Website (for example, form submission completion), used for measurement where permitted by your cookie choices.

We do not intentionally collect special-category data (such as health data, religious beliefs, or political opinions), financial account details, or government identification numbers. Please do not include that type of information in any form fields on the Website.

3. Why We Process Your Data and Legal Basis

We process personal data for specific purposes, using the legal bases available under GDPR (where applicable). Depending on your interaction with the Website, the legal basis may include:

  • Registration and contact requests: to respond to your request and provide course-related updates. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(a) (consent) where you provide consent.
  • Website analytics (optional): to understand how the Website is used and improve content and navigation. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) (consent).
  • Marketing measurement and remarketing (optional): to measure ad performance and show relevant training updates. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) (consent).
  • Security and fraud prevention: to protect the Website, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests).
  • Legal obligations: to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or lawful requests. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) (legal obligation).

Automated decision-making (GDPR Art. 22): We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Website. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Some cookies are essential for basic site functions; others are optional and used only if you consent.

Our cookie categories align across our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy:

Essential (always active)

Essential cookies are required for the Website to function and for your cookie preferences to be remembered. These cookies do not require consent in many jurisdictions.

  • Examples: _site_session, cookie_consent
  • Retention: session to 12 months (depending on the cookie)
  • Purpose: session continuity, consent storage, basic security protections (including CSRF-style protections where relevant)

Analytics (optional, consent required)

If you enable analytics cookies, we may use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregated usage patterns (for example, which pages are visited most often). We configure analytics to reduce unnecessary data collection where possible (including IP anonymization where supported).

  • Examples: _ga (2 years), _ga_XXXXXXXXXX (2 years)
  • Data retention: 14 months for analytics reporting data

Marketing (optional, consent required)

If you enable marketing cookies, we may use technologies from advertising partners to measure campaign performance, attribute conversions, and create audiences (for example, remarketing or lookalike audiences). This helps us show relevant course updates to interested visitors, but it is optional.

  • Examples: _gcl_au (90 days), _fbp (90 days), _fbc (90 days when click ID is present)
  • Used for: remarketing, conversion attribution, and performance measurement

Beyond cookies, some partners may use pixel tags and server-side event forwarding where enabled. If used, identifiers may include cookie IDs and device signals derived from IP address and User-Agent strings. Where applicable, data may be hashed before sharing to reduce direct identifiability.

5. Consent and How to Withdraw It

Users in the EEA and UK receive a consent notice under GDPR/UK GDPR. Analytics and marketing cookies activate only after explicit, informed, freely given consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Your choices are recorded in the cookie_consent cookie (12 months).

You can withdraw consent at any time by using “Manage cookie preferences” in the footer or by clearing cookies in your browser settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it.

6. Sharing With Advertising and Service Partners

We may share limited personal data with service providers and advertising partners when needed to run the Website, respond to requests, and (if you consent) measure marketing performance. These partners may include:

We do not sell personal data. These providers act as processors or independent controllers depending on the context. We do not permit providers to use Website data for their own independent commercial purposes beyond delivering their contracted services.

7. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers operate outside the EEA/UK, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as:

  • EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and the UK Extension and Swiss-U.S. DPF where applicable)
  • Standard Contractual Clauses (EU 2021/914) as a fallback mechanism
  • UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) as a fallback mechanism

You can request more information about safeguards used for a particular transfer by contacting us at [email protected].

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:

  • Registration submissions and correspondence: up to 2 years from the last interaction, unless a longer retention period is required by law or needed for legitimate business reasons (for example, dispute handling).
  • Analytics data: 14 months for GA4 reporting data (where enabled).
  • Marketing cookies: for the cookie lifetime listed in our Cookie Policy (where enabled).
  • Server logs: typically up to 90 days for security and troubleshooting.
  • Cookie consent records: up to 3 years for audit purposes (where required or appropriate).
  • Legal and tax obligations: retained as required by applicable laws (often 6–10 years for certain records).

9. Your Rights (GDPR and UK GDPR)

If GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (Art. 15)
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16)
  • Erase your data in certain circumstances (Art. 17)
